Trilogy pump kits

So maybe there is some obvious thing that I am missing, but is seems to me that a special bent rod for a trilogy pump kit is far less simple than installing the pump rod on the other side of the gun. Admittedly you would need a back block threaded on that side, but other than that is there anything to stop this from working?

Envisioning a CCM kit on my Trilly now.

Thanks,

Code

most people just grind off the ram mount and then mount a straight rod in the common fashion. if you get a double rod back block from sanchez machine you can mount it on the passenger side or if you are capable enough you could drill you pump handle and back block to mount on the opposite side. takes some skill to get it all lined up and still be a smooth pump stroke. i say just grind off the ram mount and go standard pump kit.
