Smart Parts EOS

Can someone please explain the differences between the Ion, epiphany, and EOS? And your thoughts on all 3.

To sum it up, basically they are the same but, there was some evolution taking place between all of them.

The Ion was the first of it's general design, and they cut some corners on build quality relative to their other markers. It suffered from inconsistency at high BPS, and the plastic body didn't go over too well.

The Epiphany introduced a metal body (magnesium alloy), an adjustable volume firechamber and they Upgraded the quality all-around (better trigger, on/off, grip, freak Jr barrel).

The EOS introduced a new body design and included the Bolt Out the Back (BOB) capability that most Ion and Epiphany owners achieved via aftermarket bodies or, mods. They also added a better feedneck.

And finally, the XE, a lower cost version of the EOS with a return to the plastic body (with BOB) and the classic Ion lowers.

Similar operating principle (spool valve) but, complete incompatibility in the internals.

Since the question was fielded, and this IS the Ask The Experts board - I feel compelled to answer Moose's question. Mwahah.

While I cannot confirm or deny speculation that Resistance has given into the dark side, the facts do support that at this present time, he currently has in his possession more electros than pumps.
