The rear portion of the valve assembly is a regulator. If you are trying to bypass this, I would highly recommend against it. If you are just skipping running a line to the foregrip, then running another to the valve, that's easy. Just get an ASA that has a right side port and run about a 1 foot macro or steel line in an arc. I run most of mine like that.
