Big red Chronograph problems.

My big Chronograph is acting up. The girl is old, and in it's past life wasn't treated well. I am hoping the board isn't dying.

Symptoms:

When Chronoing I wil get 3 or 4 shots off then it will freeze on the next one. Any shot after that the chronograph doesnt change. While my guns are consistant, they are not that consistant. Only way to un freeze it is to un plug the battery.

I have checked the battery and is good.

Anyone have any ideas? Google doesn't seem to show me a manufaturer or a manual.

Thanks,
Dan

I haven't taken one of those apart. In general, I would make sure the board is clean (no trash/film shorts) and make sure all the wiring connections are good. Sometimes you get one or two strands of wire bringing power from the battery and it's not enough.

LPS contact cleaner is usually good for boards, but try it on an edge first. It melts Playstation (1) controller plugs.

There should be a yellow sticker on the bottom with a date of manufacture and the contact info. I believe the operation is just one guy but he's great at talking you through trouble shooting on the phone.
