Question OLD School Carter Comp $?

Hi all.
I am new here, and I already see this site being quite the Budget Breaker! lol
I have a very old Carter Comp that I may sell, or I may not. I used it in a few woodsball games a few years back, but pretty much it has sat on my wall for the last 3 or 4 years. I aqquired it alot cheaper than what I think its worth awhile back, for I always wanted one back in the day, but all I could afford back then was a Rapide, and then a Brass Eagle King Cobra. That was in 1990 I think, and I am thinking that this Comp is even older than that....1988??
I am charging batteries for my camera now, but in the meanwhile I did find a few Great pics of the EXACT type of carter I own, color and all...less the stock. Who knows? it may be the one in the pic! I know Earon used to build "batches" at a time, and still does I think, and have been told there are not that many around with the longer pump handle. It is EXACTLY like the silver/black one in thumbnails...
VintageRex.com |

It is in good condition..(as in Boba Fett's Rifle condition) well used but still badass, works flawlessly, and has zero leaks.
Any ideas on rarity or worth?
I may even be interested in selling it if the price is Verrrrry good.lol
Its not like its something you see for sale all the time, for i think if i did sell it, i would never find one again to replace it...with all you collectors out there. >
Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!!! Pics shortly.
thanks Again!

Depends on who is looking at the time... anywhere from $250-$350, maybe $400 if it's in amazing condition or has a rare carter piece (like a carter pump changer or something).

I believe that it does have a "Pump changer", as in the pic. Which still works perfectly. Has never leaked air, only likes to release when co2 is almost empty though. Thanks for the heads up Jyhan!
Nice Pump Pwpball! Ebay Score! looks like one in the other thumbnail of the pic link. Thanks for the good luck, you must have seen my other post . Bye Bye Vector.

I would like to see the pics when you get them. Also Let me know when you get a price on this, I might be interested.
PS Kids are worth it, I would sell my guns for my 2 girls in a hart beat.

unfortunatly heavy wear devalues these guns quite a bit as they are show off pieces to be played with. A good picture will help us help you.

PICS!!!finally

here are some pics. As i said before, it is in good used condition. The aluminum parts could be cleaned up some more, and the black finsh/paint could also be touched up here and there,...but as with an "antique", I have pretty much left it be, I guess I just like that aged look. No real damage, and gun/ Pump Changer work perfectly...likes larger paint...shoots anything but feeds larger paint more consistent. And its still pretty friggin accurate. I also have the original velocity adjuster......interest?? value???
