05 superstock membrane switch

Im looking for a membrane switch for an 05 superstock. I recently bought an 05 on this website (kicks butt), to see what is wrong with another one I have at home...turns out it is a bad membrane switch...I see now they are no longer available...anyone have one (working) who is willing to part with...(or a killer mod)...that works?s..this would be for the wgp select fire frame.

In MCB threads from the past concerning this...it always seems to end with someone saying go to jtparts to get it...however, they are no longer selling part due to discontinue.

I guess Id prefer the mod since this button on my old marker has been giving me problems from day 1. However, a new button option would be taken in a heartbeat....as long as Im not hosed...lol

I know about the E2 and E1 boards too, but I want to fix this one if I can.

if you connect the right and left prongs that the membrane plugs into for a second, it should turn the board on in whatever mode you selected with the eye on.

Ill try that with the two ends and get back to you guys...
BTW...I will check out the dm style membrane pads too...but they are usually 3 prong connectors...and the marker is a 4-pronger.

About to leave work and try that fix from "timekeeper"...a few notable questions...

So if the far left and the far right work the button...are the other two lines for the 2 colored lights?...one line per light?

I say this cause the DYE membrane only has 3 wires...so, it makes me wonder if it only has one light color (this is my attempt to learn the board from people who have messed with it)

in order to fix that dye switch...the frame would need machining. Im trying to avoid that too..

thnx for all your info guys!

Not really sure what the other 2 are for, one (or 2) should enable you to turn the eyes off/go into training mode. Never really had to go that far, i just straight away changed the frame on my 05 black magic for an e1 and the SF frame's board for a SD opto T-board.
