ptxtreme cycling issues and maybe bottom line

hey all, finally got time now that school is done and i find half my gear is rotting. need to fix a ptxtreme pistol with a nice little cycling issue. pull the trigger it double cycles and then bottoms out. blowing a ton on powerlets to diagnose.. sear and bolt look clean and solid. just replaced all the o-rings, cup seal and springs. still no idea why its doing this. any ideas anyone? bottom line instructions would be cool too, wouldnt mind throwing a small CO2 on it and really getting some play...

I think I still have ones of these somewhere. I added a bottom line to it not long after I got it. It is a classic 3-stack, open bolt design. Very similar to the tried and true Spyders from Kingmann. If you are looking at the bottom of the PTXTreme with the barrel facing away from you, you will notice a bolt on the frame that is right in front of where the 12-gram would fit. Remove that bolt and you can put a Spyder bottom line kit in place. In fact the holes in the bottom of the grip are in the right place for a Spyder bottom line ASA. When you do this, you need to put an empty 12-gram and lock it in place, or gas will spew out of the pierce pin.

Hope this helps.

that actually does. i might be able to scrounge the bottom line off my old marauder for diagnosing the cycling problem. at the very least it will save me some coin on powerlets.
