Yeah, you just have to be careful. I haven't done one, but know they can be tapped. That being said... way back i sent a gun to Tim McMurray and when I got it back he told me that the lower was a different body because the pgp I sent was a cartridge valve and he couldn't stand working on them so he swapped mine for one he had laying around that was a original non-cartridge valve. You would probably put a hole in the body and drill and tap a hole in the valve but you would almost certainly have to braze your fitting in there.. which for a cartridge valves sucks because then you can't ever remove it. I know I have seen someone make a front end for the valve that is drilled and tapped so you can run your CA line out the front, or throw a 90 or Tee fitting into the front of the valve and then you are just drilling a hole in the body and if need be modifying your pump handle. Just drill and tap your valve body . On the gun's valve tube, just drill a hole for your pipe fitting to pass through.
