Original Price of Crosman 3357 Spotmarker

I am curious if anyone knows the original purchase price of the Crosman 3357?

These could be purchased new from 1986 to 1992.

(I have a 1986 receipt from a Crosman 357 Pellet Pistol Set that was $39).

I would like to know what a 3357 cost new, for one thing, to offset claims by people selling 3357s, that claim they paid $500 for it new.

Yes, short barrel one, very rare, I've only seen one in the last 2 years.

I've often hard there were 3 versions. The 4", 6" and 8". But people might be confusing te 357 with the 3357. I have seen plenty of custom long barrel 3357s though.

The following ad shows a retail of $79. Not bad, as it also shows a Phantom for $320... in 1990 dollars. Anyway, maybe people were confusing the price of the 3357 with that uzi pistol? That was pretty pricey.
