Cocker pricing question..

Ive just recently discovered a love for autocockers.Which has lead to me being asked by a friend to appraise and sell his cockers for him.Sadly
being newly familiar with cocker I dont really have any idea,There are so many and only a handful or so seem desirable.I thought maybe I could post them here and the experts could fill me in.IM guessing somewhere in the 120-150 range is fair, but I dont want to cheat people.I do want them to sell, but I dont want to sell a gem to cheaply.
Ok,well this first isnt a cocker..PGP one of the newer ones Im assuming since Ive never seen one with the hi vis sites, and quick load.Sadly it wont pierce 12 grams.

OK,actual Cockers.
Dont know much about this one.

2nd cocker..ANS reg,DYE frame,Shocktech bolt.

lastly the 99 cocker. This gun was tuned by palmers.Dont know i that means alot now.Lapco drop,2 bigshot barrels.
I really have a mind to trade him out of this one.Ive not owned a pre2k cocker, and its just beautifully heavy.

Thanks people for any suggestions

I'm not an expert on the 'cockers, and not sure how familiar you are with PGP's, but the PGP may not be out of service. They pierce a 12-gram with the first trigger pull, not when you screw it in.

Try putting a capsule in, pumping it, and dry firing. It should make a little pop that first time.

Unfortunately the price of Mechanical Cockers has tanked. Action Village has brand new mechanical guns for $119.Worrgames Paintball Guns at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

I wouldn't pay much more than $50-$75 for any of those Cockers. The top two are basically just stock autockers from when they started to get ugly, in my opinion.

The bottom would probably be the only I would buy, as it appears to be in good shape, and has some interesting parts on it.

So they go, bottom picture, second picture, first picture in order of value, in my opinion.

As Pillage said, they have dropped pretty drastically in value. If those are your guns, I would hold onto them for a while. The price usually goes back up. Right now, extremely rare and amazing Cockers are going for rediculous prices....those are hardly worth selling.

Just my $.02, since you asked.

A good way to follow pricing on Cockers is watch some ebay auctions that have a similar set up and see what they go for. But like WSCopic said there is nothing really special about these cockers and $50-$75 is about all you would get each. The top two most likely would be purchased by someone making a sniper so all the extra crap would just get stripped off. The 99' might not go to the chopping block but 99' cockers are really a "dime a dozen".

I too prefer the pre-2K slab sided cocker bodies.

Out of curiosity, what type of LAPCO is that on the '99?

If is it an Autospirit or ...whatever the next smaller one is....it could be worth more than the gun, at this moment.

Thumper, collected a lot more info from all over the net and compiled a nice newer history list with ~serial numbers to dates. As everyone knows the serial number scheme by WGP was pretty loose but this will get you pretty close.

I don't think you'd have any trouble selling them for around ~100 bucks a pop, but get them out there quick. Soon the peasants will realize how cheap BNIB cockers are.

The last one is a gorgeous Sleeper. It's my favorite as well.
