C.A.T. vs revy

probly a stupid question but whats wrong with a C.A.T. revolution that makes everybody hate them im new to pump and i need something other than gravity feed and i dont want to use my rotor for pump thanks

They don't have an "eye" so they constantly spin. If you are trying to be sneaky, far from ideal.

They also have really crappy shells compared to some of the older revvy's.

Try the Proto Primo loader. It has an integral shelf above the feed tube that keeps paintballs from jamming in the feedneck. It's at least as good as a Revy for pump. I have used both the Revy and this Primo, and find the Primo to be lighter on my setup. Give it a try!

use the rotor if it will fit in ur feedneck. great battery life as well as reliability and rotors look good on pumps I think. Thats not saying I dont think revvys look bad on pumps i like those too.

Proto primo is good. Same structure as a rotor but much lighter. To be honest tho, I just don't like the Rotor loaders, they are great and everything but they stick upwards so much.....

The Rotor has one of the smallest profiles for a loader on the market today...lol. I would honestly go out and buy a cheap 12 volt Revvy, it will be much better.

This.I use one on my classic sniper, and it works like a charm.Like kermit said,it is much quieter than the C.A.T because it stops spinning if it doesn't need to feed.I put mine thru a comparison test because I wanted to see which hopper is better:C.A.T,Revvy,or GXG pocket hopper.I shot each one ten times. The C.A.T cracked, the pocket hopper busted into pieces on the fifth shot, and the revvy survived. That was from about thirty feet away with my sniper.

I'm planning on using my Invert Reloader2 for whenever I pick up a pump. Similar profile to the Revy but newer and is sound activated rather than putting constant stress on the paint or spinning all of the time.

I was able to pick one up for right around $20 shipped off of ebay.

A revy does neither of those. It only spins when it see's a gap in the ball stack.

Revys are solid and proven. Just the shells on the newer ones are more brittle.

Also if you put the egg paddle mod in, you'll get much better performance for higher rates of fire. I've used my revy on LCD angels and other electros and never had a feed rate issue aslong as I wasn't using ramping modes and not just trying to outshoot it. You can see the paddle threw the shells a bit. This is my revy on my BM sniper, few changes since the picture its purdier now.

someone really needs to make an after market revvy shell, i've got a cracking one and an extra spare board, just make it out of better plastic, and compatible with speed feeds.
