ASA is always on?

So my CP direct mount always hits the pin on my Ninja tank always allowing air into the system regardless of the knob on the ASA being "on" or "off". I dont have this problem using the same tank on my RAPS ASA, so do you guys have any possible solutions?

So if it's off, it leaks/vents? If it doesn't, looks like the pin is stuck.

If it does, you can shorten the pin or drop a tank o-ring into the asa before screwing in the tank.

Somethings causing your pin to stay stuck forward, take apart and rebuild it. That should solve the issue.

Sounds like your pin valve o-ring is worn / compressed..

Ive rebuilt the ASA twice to no avail, and the tank works fine in other ASA's. The pin in the ASA moves freely as well.

If you can, shorten the pin. If not, just drop an o-ring in there like ta2maki said.

Dropped in a tank o-ring and it fixed the issue. Now the ASA doesn't purge. Maybe I rebuilt it backwards...

I have one of the Ninja SHP regs and found that the pin on it is longer than my other regs. The only On/Off I have an issue with though is a red CP direct mount. No matter how far out I have the knob, it still engages the pin when I screw the tank on. Comparing it to my other regs, the pin sticks out just a hair past the reg body.
