Yup. Bore drops are where the ball drops into the barrel, usually as a result of the bolt having a smaller ID front and sliding into the barrel bore. There is no transition because the barrel is the same ID and flush to where the ball starts.

Oh my god. This is the most ridiculous description of breech and bore drop in the history of paintball.

Breech... The ball drops into a breech a significantly larger diameter than the ball. Advantage? Power tube is shorter.

Bore... The ball drops into a breech that is .68 or so.
Advantage? No ramp to jump up, and the ball stack isn't halfway infront of the bolt when you go to chamber.

bottom picture = Retro 7

(breech drop, short transition from breech to barrel so it chambers into barrel, just enough room for the frame and feed screws and a new anti-double feed detent )

but yes, while the second photo is better. the phantoms have the first becuase if you unscrew your barrel you'll see the frame screw and the screw from the feedgate/CA adaptor if you have one.
