Best Elbow for powerfeeds?

I seem to break elbows like they were toothpicks. I am constantly cracking them.

Anyone have a recommendation for a reliable hopper elbow?

I use a pvc 45 degree elbows with some notches cut into it and hose clamps. Haven't broken one yet.

Titus atomic elbow if you want something cheap and durable.

If you want something that look nicer I would say give tech T a try. I would not vouch for Palmer elbow just because they make it out of copper pipe then add clamp around it. While it is durable it is in no way worth $60.

If you're so rough playing, if the elbow stops breaking, what, then, will break?

The elbow, in my opinion, is a sort of "fuse"- it breaks to keep the more expensive components from breaking. Like the gun's feed neck, or the neck of the loader.

A $6 elbow is cheaper to replace than a $30 set of hopper shells or a $100 body.

Doc.

They just wear out and the plastic starts cracking. Not from hitting anything, just from running. Used to be, elbows would last me a long long time, I think its just a quality issue.

I am using clamping rubber/plastic type elbows. It seems like they have gotten more brittle.

I will try out that atomic elbow. APP stuff is super durable. Hows is it on turning without the clamps? I hate my hopper moving all over the place.

I had a ton of the old view loader elbows they were the best but over time they wore out and now you can't find anything as well designed as them... Metal is like many said looks great but doesn't make sense in practical terms. I just bought a dozen cheapi plastic ones and go threw 2 a month when I am actually playing
