Temp fix for cocking rod bumper?

The bumper on my ccms cocking rod broke and the new one wont be here til next week. So i was wondering if there were any temporary fix suggestions if i wanted to play this week.

I use clear tubing and cut a slice to the length I like. Works well and is transparent. Gun pics in sig for examples

Hardware stores also sell flat, black rubber washers that fit over the cocking rod.

Awesome thank you. Hey biggs how did you get dice on the Karni? Thats what the previous owner put on mine but the dice broke.
