If You want Pm me your mailing address. I have some high wear adhesive Teflon tape that we use at work. I can send you some, a layer inside the pump handle and a couple outside the barrel should make a crazy smooth pump stroke.

I would think the machinist would turn the barrel down a bit and then add a delrin sleeve...

I'm following stanchy's advice

A bushing on either side ofthe pump might be easier

also good idea I didn't think of. here's the plan of action (1=most preferable least practical/3=most practical least preferable)

1) get a machinist to instal a sleeve (and do some other word)
2) bushings
3) teflon tape (gonna try and find this at my local hardware no home depot store)

thanks for the many helpful suggestions!

1 and 2 are the same thing

sleeve/bushing is the same idea

and they could go on the pump handle or barrel

doesnt matter

I'm not sure that you can find the Teflon tape like that in a retail setting.

edit* if the bushing goes on the barrel you can still use the stock barrel if you want to freak bore it or ever get large paint

The non-machinist fix I would do is to get a piece of tubing, plastic or copper(or similar soft tubing, that is thin walled and almost same OD as your barrel. Cut the length to be the length of the pump+ pump stroke. Then cut a slit down the entire length of the tube. Now you can open up the tubing and slip it over over the barrel. Final OD can be adjusted by cutting more of the tube so it doesn't wrap all the way around the barrel.

^did that with a ten round tube and a Raptor J&J ceramic barrel I had milled to fit. Worked quite nice.
