Bob long cam drive asa wont bleed properly
i noticed it yesterday when i played with the gun, when i degassed at the end of the day it wouldnt bleed at al so just now i took apart my asa to look at it, and i greased the pin a little bit cause i thought it might have to do with friction or something.
But that didnt help, can it be that i need to service my regulator so ITS pin slides better? its a ninja ultralite adjustible

On my on/off's that don't bleed very well I pull off a shot after opening them (ie. those $10 cheapos from ANS). Usually works for me.

That's not an ideal solution, but it gets the job done.

I know that CP regulators hold pressure for a couple mins before releasing, I was using a CP reg with a CAM Drive ASA and the pressure released from the reg push the internals out of the ASA. I had to send the ASA to BLAST for repair, I would take Jaccen advice.

It would be helpful to others if you shared the solution they provided, in case it happens to someone else.

if you turn the asa to the off position, You can press the pin in and break off the bur inside the asa which will let you degas the asa.

Thank you! I shall try this on my BL gear drive asa that has never bled...and now sits in a box somewhere...

Worked for me, I also removed the brass ring inside the asa, and when I put everything back in it magically just worked.
