Their rebuild-able ones? If that's the type your referring to, I never noticed any problems. Compared to the stock ones the didn't work better or worse in my, if limited, experience. I was using them on an ebladed cocker, if it matters (gen 1). They were nice in terms of being a little adjustable, but with adding the correct o-ring the stock detent is just as adjustable. I ended up using a CP detent and selling the checkit (as well as a rebuildable shocktech one) to a friend. Some have had problems with the quality of the CP detents, but I never did (that being said, I only ran 5-6 cases of paint through that cocker before I got rid of it).
if you can get a good deal on them, go for it. otherwise, I think price is the biggest factor here. there's nothing wrong with the stock detent (and I found the ability to rebuild a metal ball bearing detents to be a little silly), especially once you add some blue loctite, plumbers tape or a small o-ring so you can adjust it and it stay in place!
