Ok experts - I have a question for you..

paintball.. right?
capture the flag, two flag, center flag.. right?
paintballs.. right?
paintball guns.. paintball masks.. right?

So I go on ebay in the paintball section and look for flags.

... nothin.

Am i missing something here?
Aren't flags a critical component of the game?
Where have all the flags gone?

Were they ever real looking flags? Every one I've seen is an old rag or piece of cloth.

Thumper, all those "nice" paintball flags Dennis [Vanguard Paintball] had and were passed down to the succession of new owners were made by me. I still have some of that fabric laying around what you looking for?

The place I started playing at used to have 2'x3' flags of ten different countries mounted on wooden poles. No way to be discreet with those. Also kind of cool picking which one you wanted for a game.

Zap series flags from the 90's. Used to be "you hang it, you keep it". Haven't seen any other like them in a long while.

Most games I see are basically elimination. The flag hang just becomes a formality when one or two are present. The same is true with tournaments as well. The only time I don't see the flag hang being a mere formality is when I go to big games and scenario events.
