Posted on a few different sites for help, but so far not getting info I need. I have a set of wood wraparound panels with thumbrest on my pumpmag. I love em, but switching looks and wanting something simliar, but in black polymer. These are the panels:



The panels are on a 45* frame, but made for a real firearm. There is a safety cutout on the right panel. I bought these from IIRC a guy in Canada and he couldnt remember where he got them. Anyone have a clue? I have tried googling "grip panel, 45 grip panel, 45 wraparound thumbrest" and some others. Tried looking through images and just can't find what I am looking for.

Any suggestions?

I think your searching wrong, what we in paintball call a 45 grip is really a 1911 grip (Yes, most often loaded in the US with 45 ACP)

First one is getting close. I like the modularity. I would just have to add the finger grooves from Stinger and be set unless they offered them as well.

Holy crap! on the others. The day I would spend $180 on a grip...

I had thought about just painting the ones I have above, but they are so pretty that is seems like a crime.

I did all the 3d design work for those grips. Was a very fun & interesting project.

Spent more then that getting my Springfield " throated" for the CCI flying ashcan. Real stuff gets expensive.

Throated = feed ramp grinded and shaped to allow loading of rounds using the a specific bullet. The bullet had a very big hole for the hollow point and was still 200gr. Most 45s I saw the edge of the bullet would catch on the feed ramp.

Making further changes again in the form of a nickel frame and new grips if I ever find what I need.

* Think I found what I want: http://www.gunaccessories.com/Excali...dgripscolt.asp , the silver black fingergroove with palm swell, thumbrest etc, but $75 is way steep for me. I think I see some black stain in my future.

Centerfeed Minimag bodies are considerably rarer. And the old barrel didnt allow me to use Freak inserts.
