There actually co2 in there? Nelsons won't catch unless they're gassed up.
Cool gun BTW.

I'll second that, it's needs air to catch.

It's a Junk-Box Special. The foregrip and handgrip are off a Daisy BB gun, the feed tube might have once been Nelson, and the bolt looks Breech-drop Nelson, either converted to dual-arm or out of a different gun.
It's 50 cal? That's odd... Sure it's not .62? (Which was a more popular caliber than fifty back in the day.)
The back half of the lower tube intrigues me. If the CO2 enters from the cartridge as normal, there's a long space between it and the power tube. Is it possible that rear screwdriver-slotted cap is a pressure regulator?
Post some good clear photos. The YouTube vid doesn't show much detail and you were moving it around too much.
Be careful dismantling it. Keep track of the parts and in what order they came out- especially if there IS some kind of mechanism in that back half.

Way interesting build. The CO2 seal part is like nothing I've ever seen. The body is that of a Nelspot, but highly and I may add very professionally modified. The valve tube appears to be missing the cup seal.
I definately want to see this thing up close. More pics PLEASE!
We gotta get this thing running for posterity's sake.
Back in the day, we were ALL "airsmiths". We experimented and modified our guns almost daily. There was no "aftermarket", no "custom shops", nothing. So, we did all this stuff ourselves.
Some of us were more creative and skilled than others. This appears to be just that, someone's garage creation. We owe it to that pioneer to get this thing going.
Fearlessly, the idiot faced the crowd, smiling...

Does it have a tpc. Does it pop when you pump it sometimes the bolt won't catch if the tpc is screwed too far in.
If you want to talk email me.
