The last versions of it had a longer hollow plug that increased volume and from what I hear solved most if not all the problems it had.

They converted great into pumps too.

Dang! I just went to Ebay to see if there were any of the 2.0 Omens floating around...and there's a guy with 3 of them.

For $300! I mean, yeah, they're cool guns, but not THAT cool.

Yeah, I think I paid/sold $50-75 for my V2. That was 3 years ago though.

Evil Omen is such a weird gun... the internal function reminds me of a blowback I designed in 2001, except mine was open bolt... but the internals were totally whack like that. the interesting part of the design was that it was more compact than any existing blowback at the time (and probably still), and it was designed with tourney configuration (centerfeed, good double trigger 45 frame, basically the good stuff of an autococker in a "simpler" gun). Too bad I didn't know **** all about manufacturing it

I have an Omen I got awhile back in a trade. I don't think I've even screwed a bottle onto it. How do I determine if it's a 1 or a 2.0?

I *think* it had to do with the board. I can't remember exactly what though.

The 1.5's had red parts. IIRC. IDK about the 2.0's.

Easiest way to tell is the feedneck. 2.0's got low-rises...everything earlier had stovepipes.
(They also got larger trigger guards.)

IIRC
1.0 had a short cap on the front of the bottom tube that could only be removed by hand or plyers (Not a stock reg in this pic)

1.5 had the same cap but could be removed with an allen wrench, lower feedneck and I believe a different board. Either this version or the 2.0 also had both sides of the ASA tapped.

2.0 had a longer plug on the front of the bottom tube
