Hello. I'm searching for the smallest 4-way, or the one with the smallest OD. Length is not that important. I'm trying to design an auto-nelson, the black cylinder in pic below is supposed to be the 4-way. But I some dimensions to finish. Here some pic's: ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance, Olle

do you mean the SMAV-3? Because that's a 3-way, and you need a 4-way or 5-way for a double acting cylinder. I know there are spring-returned rams that could be used with a 3-way valve, but I'm not sure they have enough return force?

I've noticed on a lot of 3ways (cocker) if that's what you need have a lot of extra metal on the body compared to inner dia for the shaft. You could always just pick one with a lot of metal and turn it down on a lathe to fit if u have the equipment.

Actually I re read your post. 4way different than 3way.... Duuuh. Disregard last post as I'm not familiar with the different 4ways on the market. Check out the clippard or smc interweb sites as they should have what u need

Ahh yes, forgot about exhaust. Always thought it was a four way but have been brainwashed by the 3way talk in the paintball community. The bomb does have a super short stroke. As for od it, I don't hve one to measure but if u hve a cocker front block, it should be the same as the mounting hole plus a mm or two. You might want to look t a orracle 3way also as it has an adjuster on the front tht might be nice since it will be mounted internally on th front of your project. If I get a chance ill measure the ones I have tonight
