High or low press

I got this in a bunch of paintball stuff at a garage sale it's out of hydro but would like to know if this is a high press or low press regulator tank is 3000 psi 68 ci has a gauge blue neck but black tag on top of gauge assembly. I'm shooting an a5 and atippman 98 can I use it

Low. It's blue. You need a hp for what you're using.

^correct! I can't remember as I've never owns many croossfire regs (only ye ole' bumble bee which I loved), but did they made a drop-in HP kit for their lp/whatever regs?

3k ninja regs are cheap if you can find them still.

Crossfire does hydro, you could send it to them if they will change it out.

No, because the regs weren't user serviceable, or even serviceable by most shops. So you had to do a reg swap with older Crossfire's. Now, with the SS reg, it is not only user serviceable, but the user can swap the pressure as well.

"Not user serviceable" - Isn't that the keyword that says "try and take me apart"

You can open those regs and service them... *BUT* they are loctited shut and must be placed in boiling water to loosen the loctite. As a warning, once they have been disassembled, you must make sure to secure the bonnet, or it will attempt to unscrew when you remove the tank from the marker. (I believe that they are *NOT* reverse threaded, but you must check with someone else to be sure.) I have rebuilt and altered the pressure on about a dozen of these.

Crossfire regs are color coded, red for High pressure output and Blue for Low pressure output.
