E-Vents and Avatars

What is the difference between the E-Vents and Invert Avatar goggles.

I see the E-Vents have soft ears. Is that it?

Are the lenses interchangable?

Hard versus soft ears. And yes, the lenses are interchangeable. Actually, the lenses can be used on e-Vents, Avatar and now the new e-Flex.

Not just ears but breathability also.

I find that the ears tend to get a bit more dirty on my events since its a separate porus material (soft ears) vs one giant piece of flexible rubber for the avatars.

The avatars are similar to the older style events from 08 where the mouth grill doesn't have as much room , compare the pictures, you will see that the 09 events curve out more. I find that, for whatever reason, maybe old age, I cannot use my avatars/older events anymore since I literally cannot suck enough air down my lungs with them on while I'm playing. You may wish to consider the 09 events or eflex if you have a large air intake.

All the events type lenses fit on everything from the entry level helix all the way up to the newest events. Same lens, just different comfort depending on the rest of it.

Update to an older post;

I already had the Avatar goggles and I do like them. About a month ago I got a new pair of E-Vents in a trade.

I actually like the E-Vents better. They feel better around my ears since they are a softer ear piece. Also, they have many more vents around the mouth area that help with the airflow.

The Avatars are now my back-up/loaner set.

Avatars and Events used to have the same mask portion, with only the ears being different.

It seems that they updated the design of the Events but did not update the design of the Avatars.

They do take the same lenses.
