I'm thinking about trying the ULE trigger in my RT-Pro. I currently get great rapid-fire with the ninja super high pressure reg. I'd like to hear from someone who has used the ULE Trigger upgrade. Does is make a huge difference in the trigger? Will it affect my rapid fire, or just make the trigger lighter?

fullofpaint is correct (though some claim them to be walkable). The ULE Trigger pull is nice because you get control over the reactivity of your mag. With fewer shims it becomes less reactive, but with 3-4 shims it can be downright scary fast. adding more shims has a similar effect to shortening your on/off pin. They are also great for pneumags so you can run lower pressure on the LPR & Ram.

Thanks guys. I want to try it but I might hold off. I like my reactive trigger and don't want to spend $50 on something that might lessen the effect. It's gonna have to go to the bottom of my wish list.

As long as you have a RT Pro and not a Retro Mag you're good to go with the ULE kit as stated in the above. Although I love the RT effect of the X-Valve (and it's retro predecessors), after setting up mine with a ULE trigger kit and properly tuning the shims, I've kept it exactly like that because I love the crazy crazy speeds that it can get up to - especially with the advent of the LX bolt and force feed loaders (switched from a Halo B to Magna to Rotor which would seem to be the fast hopper I've ever owned). Like I said I loved the retro effect on the trigger pull, but it is what it is. Although it's for an almost completely different purpose/function, I keep my gun setup so I can trip the trigger and shoot ropes fast than a lot of the electropneumatic guys on ramp...
