Stroker shooting low

Basically, I have a sheridan that's still shooting low. Stroker, to be exact.

What's the ideal pressure to be running this at?

If not, is it possible to shim the hammer spring?

The stroker is a RVA version. I don't want to send this back to PPS because it has had modifications made to it, and is no longer "stock"

Sheridan-based Strokers like pressure, the higher the better. The mainspring might be worn out. PPS can send you a new one. PPS won't care if you've modified it, all it would do is void your 1-year warranty if it were still in effect.

So is there such a thing as "feeding it too much pressure", as is the problem that sometimes occurs with snipers & AC based markers?

At a certain point, the pressure would overcome the "power" of the hammer against the valve. Sheridans and especially Strokers like high pressure. Not sure what actual PSI they like, as I don't ever really use guages, but CO2 and higher pressure HPA seem to really make them happy. Mine hates HPA and only works well on CO2....oddly.

For whatever reason, I've got it burned in my mind that I am going to dual reg the stroker through a PMI Thor and then a PPS stab.

What pressures should I set them at, initially? And do I want to turn the pressure up or down from there to fiddle around with, initially?

Initially is such a cool word.

FB what are you running for a setup? Are you already trying to dual reg it? Which tank are you trying on it? What kinda of velocity are you getting out of it? Did you run some oil through it?

Try using the spring out of your Hurc and see what happens.

I'm with WSCopic on this one...try using CO2, a lot of sherdians don't like N2, my unmodified markers hate N2.

As for reg pressure, I'm pretty sure your Stroker can handle whatever a preset N2 tank reg outputs. Forfit the regs at this point and just get it running at a decent velocity. Then let me borrow it FB

I do have a Stab on my Stroker, mainly for consistancy when using co2. I have no idea what pressure it's set at but it's cranked in a bit.

Mine doesn't seem to mind HPA, it works fine on either.

OK. I think I have velocity sorted out (just shimmed it).

Now, another problem:

Trigger sticks when aired up. LPR isn't set too high - I've already tried fiddling around with the entire LPR pressure setting procedure.

Trigger doesn't stick when degassed, just when the marker is gassed.
