Liquid Pressure Guage in the 0-500psi Range?

I am tired of the ghetto air-filled mini pressure guages on my reg tester giving me inaccurate readings...I put three on the tester the other day and they all gave different readings.

Does anyone know where I can find a proper glycerine filled guage with standard threads to add to my tester?

PRECISION! SCIENCE!

Price is not too bad on these

Yep, WIKA makes good gauges. Just be aware that a liquid filled guage will not react as fast as a dry guage.

Yup! If your reg tester is being used to test recharge and such, then get a good quality air gauge. The older style Ashcroft gauges that were used on Air America systems were pretty good without being expensive. As long as you use the same gauge for everything, you are fine if it isnt 100% lab grade accurate. Its repeatability that is more important in most cases.

HVAC/R supply house. High side gauge. 0-500 PSI 5 PSI increments 1/8 NPT port. Some are liquid others are non. I have a non liquid gauge and I can also readjust the needle to read zero. I have used one for years. I have a 0-1500 PSI liquid filled for all work above 500 PSI. Pretty much accurate against older 1.25 inch face, minis and micros. Checks out with other test gauges known to be true.

just my 2 cents.
