Get a machinist to make a 2k spec plug made, install it with red loctite, then have them drill and tap for pre-2k specs. I would suggest talking to Doc Nickle, he's very good at this type of thing, and keep an open mind about how long it is quoted for completion, and when it actually gets done. But it will be done properly.

Curiosity is killing me though, what kind of special front block you have?

Yeah, curious too. Unless it's a gemini or something really crazy not sure what the issue would be with finding a proper one. It obviously doesn't match the gun.

It's hard to say but it might be smarter to have KPCS or Doc mill the front block to 2k spec. Making the banjo hole bigger isn't a big deal and about anyone with a drill could do it. It's just the O-ring recess that needs to be milled. I say this might be the better route as putting a thread insert in there might be a little more temperamental and also would devolumize the front chamber a bit.

Somebody call me?

Yes, it's possible, and there's two ways to do it: The easy way is a semipermanent mod, where a plug is loctited in (though it can be with blue/removable loctite) and then redrilled with the proper 3/8" fine thread.

The harder way is to make a removable plug, but in order to seal properly, a step needs to be machined in the face of the body, so an O-ring can sit.

The "semipermanent" one, if put in with blue loctite, can be removed later if necessary, but it'd involve destroying the plug, so it's not something you'd do on a whim. But, once removed, the body would be back to stock again.

Drop me an email at doc@docsmachine.com, or send me a PM if you're interested.

Doc.

Ok, Ill let you guys know. Its for a 2nd BPS Reflex Im building.
So the Frontblock is specific to the kit. With no replacements availible. Been gathering bits for awhile now.

Project gun on the left. Mine completed one is on the right. I really want to eliminate the Rightfeed body but go with something much nicer which seems to be only 2k spec stuff.

This is the front end of my completed gun. To give a idea of what the block is.

Umm let me be the first to say, YOU SUCK! LOL. Nice gun, always wanted one. I think with a little bit of shopping around you can find a nice center feed pre-2k body for your setup. A 98 STO body would be pretty cool! Probably cost about the same as modifying your current body. If you havent checked Custom Cockers for a body, I am pretty confident you can find something nice over there, check with Endangered Customs, he has alot of bodys for sale.

I was also going to suggest one of the 98 vert feed STO bodies. That body ^mentioned there^ would look gorgeous. There's also a super nice red splash body kit with a shroud he has that is the bees knees.
