Is there anyone who makes a adapter so you can use a 99 spec banjo bolt in a 2K spec autococker body?

The Inflicted 12-10-2012 01:08 PM

I'm not sure such a thing would even be possible, considering that the new threads (9/16-24) are larger than the old threads (3/8-24) but close enough that any such adapter would be precariously thin.

cougar20th 12-10-2012 01:17 PM

ah crap, I didnt realize they were that close

would it be possible to have a 99 spec front block drilled out to 2K specs.

Nicodemus 12-10-2012 02:41 PM

Yes, just gotta drill bigger. People mod 99 bodies to accept 2k front blocks/banjos.

cougar20th 12-10-2012 02:53 PM

other way, I want to make the 99 spec frontblock into a 2k.

Nicodemus 12-10-2012 03:38 PM

Yes I know "the other way"
I was just saying people do it to bodies so why not the fb?

MaD 12-10-2012 03:51 PM

Would probably be a lot easier to just get the right front block / banjo.

No problem. I understand.

I also know its a odd question.

It would be but no can do. But its a special front block. Not even easily replaced if something goes wrong.

The Inflicted 12-10-2012 04:45 PM

So it's just the front block and not the banjo bolt itself that you need to use?
