freak backs are just under 1" od

if your gonna thread the body, thread the barrel that way they match
you'll lose just over 1.25 if you thread both
then get the barrel freak bored

freak tips are just over 7/8
freak backs are just under 1"

Awesome! Thank-you.

How 'bout this... I get the original barrel re-threaded as a freak front.
The pump handle will just cover the freak back (except for a little at the aft end), so it will still look pretty cool - if the shark gills will actually line up...

DUUUUUUUUUDE! I was pondering that!!!!

Is that for anti-roll-out or anti-double-feeding (looks to be anti-R/O from this angle)
Does it effect accuracy at all? No interference with the pump?

You must provide measurements (from front of grip frame to edge of detent hole will work)

And... is that a Trracer bolt in the Razorback?

The Empire Trracer barrel is 1"od at the breech end of the barrel, and runs roughly 7" at that od before tappering down. How about dyeing the the original barrel in AC threads. I'm sure there would be some loss in length; but in the end look completely stock.

Damnit. Ironnerd beat me to it.

Its for rollouts, I still get some double feeds if i point down while cocking.
it doesn't seem to have any effect on accuracy.
Yes that is a Trraccer venturi bolt which is slightly longer then a Razorback bolt. so my measurements would be off for the stock bolt.
The pump handle JUST makes contact with detent when fully cocked.

This. Cut it, cocker thread the body, cocker thread and freak bore the barrel. Roberts your fathers brother! Looks stock and will shoot much nicer.

I have a Nice LineSI bushmaster with a WGP cocker barrel which was turned down and freak bored, looks stock, no roll outs and more consistent.

an asp style phantom body detent would be soooo much easier and cheaper, although you'd have to make a plate to hold an oring in that the bottom/front thumb screw would have to secure. just a thought. a/c threads, if possible, is probably the most practical (or whatever kind of threading/twist lock barrel-adding thing you want)

GAGH! Won't work on a Razorback III! The pump handle comes all the way back to the grip frame!

SO CLOSE

I am suddenly hesitant to cut the RB3 - it has such a distinctive look with the shark-gills...

I shall continue to ponder the options.

I could buy a Phantom (for $200), but I would still need to get it freaked ($80ish)
I could get a Grey Ghost ($330), still need that freak barrel ($80), and I don't like direct feed.
I could get a new Trracer or Hammer 7, but they are both ugly as sin...

All it takes is money...
