I have an older ANS cocker that won't quite cock. I have adjusted the lug on the hammer to fire very early in the trigger pull, the inlet regulator is set to about 90 psi and the rear block is set at about a papers thickness from the rear of the body when closed. The problem is that the ram doesn't push the block back enough to cock the hammer. I have attempted to adjust the 3 way in and out with no success and I have adjusted the LPR both up and down while pulling the trigger but the back block does not travel far enough. I can cock the gun by pulling the block back just a little farther but the gun won't do it. I have lowered the velosith so it will cock easier and I have turned the knob on the cocking rod in but we just don't have enough stroke from the ram. It has been working in this configuration and I don't know how it got out of time but I am stuck at this point. Any suggestions?

Perhaps a more conservative sear lug setting will point you in the right direction. Something to think about. |

Head for 350 to 400psi and bottom out the LPR. Start adding pressure to the LPR until it cocks reliably and then go 1/4 to 1/2 turn more so it cocks every time without fail. I'd adjust the hammer lug a little before you start that for a sure catch every cycle and then mess with it more once you have the marker cycling/cocking reliably and swiftly.
