Help ID this barrel

Paintball marker barrel, 16.5" long, 20.5" overall leng - (eBay item 300149444986 end time Sep-15-07 04:56:10 PDT)

I was at this guy's house a couple months ago looking at this barrel. Could it possibly be a kit for a NelSpot? Could it possibly have a tube you put in the barrel to make it fit .62? He had another tube that looked like it may slide down in the barrel.

It looks like it will bolt onto a nelson frame. Those side screws look like they engage the valve body like on a Grey Ghost.

Plus it has a pump screw slot, and the slot for the sear.

It looks like a nelson body to me, but I cant figure out what exactly. Definitely not a ghost, especially with a $79.99 price tag on it. I may have a use for it since still have a pile of nelson parts here looking for a body.

Look like one of the thousands of long barrel direct feed body kits made for a OO7 conversion. I take a stab at this one I have a need for something like this.

Hmm, notice the feed port how it's ramped in front of the hole? Looks to me like the old Hornet pump that had the feed neck on the pump handle.

It DOES look like a Hornet Paintgun Co Hornet barrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These weren't normally available as kits, but used the standard nelson arrangement, but for a pump mounted elbow for the hopper, so pumping agitated the paintballs. I wish it came with the pump, as the pump and barrel are what made the hornet, as the rest was nelson stuff. I'm fairly certain they had autotrigger.

They had wild barrel lengths 12-14-16-18-20 I think, so 20 Overall should be the 16"

I have never seen a complete example.... Most were silver though.

I've been looking for a 62 cal version of this gun for quite some time...

No one uses the 62 cal, so they just rot in someone else's closet instead of in mine.. LOL...

Neat find regardless.

well if the barrel was obtained, a pump could be made and a hornet 'built' but it wouldn't be quite the same.
