Parts fit?

Will the internals from a spyder compact 2000 fit a Bob Long millenium body? Have one of these left new in box and have been wanting to build it for a while!!!

The only internals difference is the striker/hammer. Every millennium body I have seen use the older fat strikers. Also the rear velocity adjuster plug takes the two side screws. In other words, not the quick strip pins. Unless they updated the millennium bodies somewhere along the lines.

That is why I was wondering, the two side screws are on the Compact 2000 so I wondered if it had the fatty stryker. Millenium(2000) thought maybe that had some correlation. If any one knows for sure, please let me know. Thanks!

If the bolt will fit in the bottom tube its a fatty stryker.

If you have the donor gun and millennium body, try it out. The slim and fat strikers are considerably different in diameter. A fatty striker will not fit in a slim striker body and a slim striker will basically flop around in a fatty striker body.

That si why I am asking, was hoping a spyder expert would know if the compact 2000 had a fatty stryker. I do not currently have the compact 2000.

I think all of the manuals are available for all discontinued spyders on kingmans website. You could check the part number of a compact 2000 as compared to a known fatty striker marker like a non-compact spyder

lnewton! Hey thanks again for the killer deal on the milli bodys. The 2000 spyder internals all work except the Striker. U can get an original spyder or Spyder SE. all the internals in those two guns fit the BL millennium bodys.
