Not to highjack the thread, but Jaan, what is with that cram 'n' jam feed adapter? I see the phantom feedgate, but what about the rest of it? Is it custom, or a production part used for a different purpose? Example, it reminds me of a warp adapter turned into a cram 'n' jam... is that correct?

I run my classic valved Level X minimag on HPA. If I really wanted to I could swap my bike grip for a 3.5o c02 and ring a stickfeed but meh lol

^dito. I avoid running my minimag on co2, given previously mentioned problems it seems to have drawing up liquid, even with the a/s, which I always found to be very odd and VERY frustrating. nothing is worse than a valve freezing up to the point of destroying all seals and putting the gun out of play for the majority of the day...

It's a Pro Team Products Warp feed adapter. I think they still sell them. Phantom feed gate goes right on it, not mods. CCI bucket changer too in the back.

I like this set up since I can easily convert to hopper and put any ol' tank on the back too. The coiled hose is the old ghetto way of keeping liquid out of the gun.

For the record, at 280fps on a nice hot day, I get 20 good shots out of a 12 gram. Not bad for "pump & pistol" days.

I can live with 20shot per 12 gram means I should get about 90 out of my 13/3k tank and around 170 with a 3.5oz.
I think I may have bought the Mag the OP was referring to

I've shot mags since '92. I've shot them remote, vertical, coiled hose, bottom line with an anti-siphon, and with expansion chambers and regulators (Stabs).
I hate mags on CO2.
I love mags on HPA.

I do one or the other (CO2 or HPA), and change markers if the gas changes.

Aluminum reg backs help with freezing. Aluminum transfers heat about 15 times better than stainless, and the reg is exactly where it is needed.

Devolumizing helps with efficiency and freezing, since you aren't taking as large a pressure drop across the reg.

My son's pump mag is short tubed from the rear rail bottle adapter to the valve. He could run flat out at temperatures over 40F without freezing, and he pumps faster than I can pull a single classic trigger (about 5 bps).

I have absolutely no real need for CO2, but it sure does make for a nice compact marker setup. I like 9 oz bottles and 12 grams. However, too many remotes, chambers, extra regs, and hoses ruin the effect for me.

Fan of EMR
From experience.

Make sure the pressure relief is working properly.

Put a tank on my classic right after getting back to the bunkhouse after it was filled, it sat for 30 minutes or so, had to wait for the safety briefing to finish, Over to the chrono, first shot everyone around me dove for cover from the noise and the chrono read about 475fps.

Three shots later without moving the adjustment screw it was in the 270s.

Other than that, My classis valved mag is CO2 only I don't use HPA on it.
