Stanch... the issue is not with the bolt. It is the sear catches to soon, so either mill the sear or the hammer to fix that.

But they are both hardened precision steel parts.

I can not take it to cut on mine to do it, I have talked to Zach and he said they may make an adjustable sear of some kind at some point.

i called BLAST a couple months ago, they were working on a shorter bolt (don't remember how much shorter) to help with this. This is a well known issue with MVPs.

Yes the top part thats silver in the picture, almost positive its just screwed on, which would mean if take off measured and figured how much longer it needs to be would fix the problem, its a small peice though

if you look at the picture i posted, the part that is screwed on, if you make that longer it should fix the entire issue

It's so common some don't consider it an "issue" but an aspect of how the marker functions. I head BLAST has some Aftermarket parts that will adress it

gospeedgo... Any updates from blast on their progress with the new bolt? I would def be interested in getting a shorter bolt for my mvp... its not a huge issue, just slightly annoying
