Just got off the phone with one of the guys at Bob long, suprisingly the guy i was talking hadnt worked on a mvp in a while. But he talked to his engineer and said that to fix the problem with it cocking before the bolt allows a ball to drop is caused by the sear either being out of spec and/or out of tolerance. And that the BEST thing to do is send it in with a note telling them that and they will try a replacement sear tip and if that doesnt fix it they will make on to fit your(my) pump perfectly so it does cock at the right time not early. And the farting noise he was honest and said its the way it is for now BUT if you send you mvp in to get the sear issue fixed they can check the noise aswell and if its really bad they will figure out why and fix it.

For anybody having the issue of your MVP cocking to early or any AT issues, contact Bob Long. What is causing the issue is the Red part the sear assembly. According to bob long some of the early MVPs Sear's were not correct. You can send it to bob long or if your really nice to them they will most likely send you the part. This info about what is causing the problem is from BOB LONG Himself

Go Blast! Good guys, glad they fixed the issue. Hope it comes back on a new diet and doesn't have such terrible gas anymore!

Sometimes it is not Q.C, but early versions that need correction down the line. Early cocking may never have been an issue until it hits the public and gets debugged a little. As for B.L. quality in general, it seems to be extraordinarily high, especially compared to some of their competition.

Well ok, given, compared to competition like SP/GOG and the K2 companies sure, they're palmers. Bob Long has always been a cash-in-clone company though. They're the 98 degrees of paintball. Even the old signature cockers, while nice, were dated looking even for the time.

Just my opinion I guess, no offense.
