Bob Long MVP Questions/Advice

Hey Guys, not sure if this is the correct area/section to be posting this.

I got my lnib MVP today, and i was wondering if anybody knows a way to fix this. When you pump the marker it will cock before the bolt is at the back of the breach or atleast far enough back for a ball to enter the breach. Not sure if there is any way to fix this, any suggestions would be great thanks guys.

I don't think there is any fix. Just make sure you pump it completely.

i'd be game to work on a bolt....

but i'd need an MVP to test it on, and she's not in the budget for awhile...

guess i gotta move some more gear, or find one cheap

Im not sure if its the bolt, but i do think i know which part it is. Give me little bit im gonna take a picture of which part i think just need to be made a bit longer to get it "timed" correctly

And id be willing to let you borrow my mvp :)

This is the part i think needs to be made longer. its got a screw going into it so id imagine that was designed so you could change it out if something like this happend? sry not best quality picture

have you actually gassed it up and test fired it?
tried to drop a paintball into the breech to see if it's actually far enough?

Hmmm have u tried contacting bob long? Seems that this marker is new enough that they should fix the issue regardless if u r the original owner or not....

yes i have, when it cocks its not far enough back, but you push the handle back a bit more and it goes into the breach. when your not using Autotrigger not going to be a problem but when your using Autotrigger you may not pump it far enough back and just fire air

idk, never contacted bob long before. Its such an simple design change just making that one part a little longer and it would work perfect if im not mistaken

soo the left hand edge of that part, is that a screw that screws into it?
or is that a milled profile?
