Hey I just picked up a ANS SE AKP (lots of letters) Can I through and other types of grips on it? I want to bulk up the frame slightly. Thanks in advance.

No, the Azodin frame is proprietary regarding grips.

The grip panels sort of sink into the frame, don't they? You could create spacers to lift the grips up and level with the frame like normal grips. It'd look better than tape, but could be more work.

I'm not sure man enough to try tape, I'll play with it more, maybe I'll grow to like it

i believe the new single trigger frames are .45 grip frames, thus taking any.45 compatible grip. the old single triggers are double trigger frames reworked. the picture of the ans gun looks like new frame. I love my kp, hope you love yours too!

Anybody have a measurement for the distance between the two holes in a .45 grip and the distances from from either edge? Maybe I can encourage a pair of .45s to fit

Well, if it comes down to it: ![]() same crap but endorsed by "top pros" The way I see it, if your using the gun, your hand is covering it. Who's going to stop a game to laugh at your grip tape? The only time someone really has a chance to see it is laying on a table in the staging area. And if someone is so hung up on it they actually start trying to give you a hard time, use the distraction to toss a quarter in their hopper. If looks are really that essential to winning, cross wrap it fancy style like a samurai sword with color coordinated tape. What it comes down to is, make some grips. Buy some grips. Get ghetto with it. Whatever it takes to play comfortably because if the gun doesn't feel right it will affect your play. Last edited by Melvin; 01-05-2013 at 02:06 PM. |
