Hello you lovely people! I know this is a long shot. And even if some one will know. I probbably wont understand. But hay, here we go..... In march i have a game in draklow tunnels. This place is blackker then black! So my plan was to wire up a load of ir leds and hooking my camara up to my red dot sight. But then i thought the screen is going to iluminate me. Then i remebered seeing special ops guy with a screen over one eye. How difficult would it be to do this? Or somthing simulare. ![]() I would love to fit a camara ro the sight and have somthing like this ![]() Thoughts please.

Sorry can't get the links working. But i have basically already made the camera. Just waiting for the view finder. But the glasses idea is pretty cool. Do you think it would work? I don't mind mounting like 20 leds across my visor. Just don't want to go in to the tunnels and not be able to see.

Are you looking to film? Shoot fools or improvise cheap night vision? If you just want to improve what you can see get a yellow lens for you goggles and start now taking Vitamin A supplements. Plan B would be to mount a high powered flashlight on your marker with a pressure switch. A Surefire G2 puts out about 65 lumens and a quick pulse will give you a good idea of where to shoot as well as temporarily blind the opposition (organic or mechanical night vision). The few times I have played night games I made myself as quiet as possible then used my ears to hunt with. |

Dude that's pretty awesome you're getting to play in the drakelow tunnels! I snagged this image from willsoptics.com ![]() Didn't rummage through the site, but it seems to be what they do for a living. Maybe just borrow some inspiration from them? Google image "night vision paintball" you'll see several set-ups from top quality to janky but functional. |

I used night vision in the military and it takes some getting used to if you are going to try to shoot something. I'd recommend the flashlight idea mentioned above, as you'll be able to use it to see where you are going and also burst it when in the dark and blind the heck out of the other guy. That'd be much cheaper and more practical in my opinion.
