So having sold quite a few different markers here and on AO I have noticed that most markers loose a lot of value in a few years. The only marker I have manage to sell that I didn't loose a lot was a phantom. Everything else I have sold I have lost 25% or more on in a year or two. New or Used, it didn't matter. So the question is: What markers hold their value best? I already saw carters study of the ego and I was quite surprised so those with more experience please lead the way!

HA! Value... paintball equipment... HA!! In today's market not much sadly... KP's are sub $300 now and they tend to sell higher then most. Honestly the only steady valuable gun are Ducks.

IMHO, forget any electro....they all lose value, Vikings/Excals might be better, along with 07 & older Borgs and PL Trixies....all will lose value. Most high end Mech Markers will not lose alot of value at this point, assuming you are buying used (cockers & mags)...think: Planet Eclipse, Besales...custom/high end stuff CCM's are holding their value pretty well Custom Sheridans: RTP's, MAC-1....that stuff Stock class pistols: R7, Redux

Sniper.. the death for high end elctro's value is parts. Once the supply for the little finicky bits goes bye bye.... they drop like a lead balloon. Those parts? Boards, solenoids, and other non-mechanical parts. Look at angels... $1500 guns back in 2000, well today you can't get the batteries to run them what do they sell at $100.

High end private labels and niche markers. Mass produced and widely available are not your friend. High end older cockers hold it great (rippers/westwood/twister/DC1/DC2), private label stuff for mags, PL vikings/excals/Ms, KPs/Walz stuff. Basically, look at settled markets where supply is significantly lower than casual demand. I got my twister for $600. I've been offered over $1000, and offered a car for it. If you're going to spend a lot, buy stuff that won't be reproduced again.

The 3 PL Trixes that either still sell for their inital value or higher are: The Aardvark Tequila: ![]() The Aardvark Tequila Sunrise: ![]() and The Kapp Flame: ![]() An argument can be made for the entity BUT they never had an MSRP to begin with. Either way they are expensive. And yes these are my markers and no they are not for sale. |

Those trixes are nice! And were probably limited. The SFL I know was very limited production. Any full production marker? Besides the phantom that I mentioned.

DSG's seem to sell for not much less than they cost new.

It is safe to assume that CCM's SR1 will hold value if not go up in the long run
