Invert Mine breakage

My son bought a Mini used but its in good shape. He has had breakage issues when shooting very fast (with fingers, not ramping).

We get breaks in the stock barrel. Im thinking this is completely barrel related as I have had the marker apart many times and its lubed and clean in the bolt area. What modest barrels would anyone recommend and could I be missing something ?

TIA

Questions.
Are the Eyes on or off?
What kind of barrel & ID ?
What is your marker set at "PSI input" and is it stock inside?
I get the same issues out of my Axe with crap paint..I can one ball all day without any issues, its when i walk the trigger i have the problems with paint..

Everything is stock to the best of my knowledge (previous owner told us). Barrel = stock. (ID ? , what is that)

How do you determine if the eyes are on or off ?
I thought they were always on whenever you pushed the power button and it was flashing.

Sorry I guess these are kinda newbie questions. But he has only owned a Ion, so our combined electro knowledge is minor :-(

Turn the marker on and air it up "make sure no balls are in it" and pull the trigger,if it fires everytime you pull the trigger then the eyes have a problem.. You can also turn the marker on ( take note of the lite flash speed and color) and see if it changes when put you finger down the feedneck/breach and block the beams from the eyes, if no change your eyes could be dirty....If you dont clean the eyes once in a while you could have issues as they will always think a ball is chambered..

No the marker does not fire unless you put a finger in the breach. ID = inner diameter (get it now, sorry)... 690 I think is the stock barrel.

Gauge reads 200.
I guess I could get a new set of eyes and try that. I think there about 30 bucks ?

PS: is there a quick guide to the stock board settings somewhere ?

Your eyes are fine then...PSI is good..Check your barrel for nicks and do a drop test on the balls you have been using..My guess is the balls are too brittle, its common at this time of year if your paint gets cold..I just hold a ball about 4ft high and drop it on concrete. If it breaks and not bounces, could be a good chance your paint is crap..

AKA Fan
14 or 16 inch Deadlywind fibur. And grab him a couple freak serts.

Try to grab it in the spiral porting instead of straight.

The last barrel he'll ever buy.

Also... Replace battery first... Check your regulator settings and reset dwell to stock. Then adjust the dump volume.
