| Made To | Aluminum tank versus carbon fiber tank
I've had quite a few and always just went with the $150+ carbon fiber 68/4500 Looking around I found that some of the aluminums from Ninja are the same weight but smaller 35/3000 or 45/3000 for $50 I realize that the size is the difference but if I don't need a huge tank what would make me not buy the aluminum Ninja for $100 or so less? Why do they cost less than a 13/3000?

If you don't need the size, there really is no reason not to buy the cheaper tank. Honestly, CF wrapped tanks are more prone to damage than non fiber wrapped.

If they are the same weight then I would go the cheaper tank. My steelie is so much heavier than my carbon fiber and holds way less so in my case I hate it. All that matters will be the weight and capacity, aswell as cheaper regs sometimes.

For the same weight and size, the 45/3000 has less than half the number of shots than a 68/4500, assuming a good 4500 fill. That's what you pay for. If you can fit into an aluminum tank, go for it. They must use the bigger tanks in some other industry, making them cheaper than the 13ci's.

Out of curiosity, you mention having quite a few, why are you constantly buying new tanks? You realize they can be rehydroed right? Just checking.
