Stanchy Is Stumped... Name That Cocker! Yup..... Im not sure what I just picked up Scrolled through the first 300 posts of the cocker pics and no signs of her https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...04464752_n.jpg Kapp Frame Sonic LPR CCM? Feedneck Evil Reg Pure Energy Reg/ASA Combo Thing Body is not drilled for a detent or eyes No serial number that i've seen yet... Any Ideas? |
Oh snap! A thor reg...... yeah I forgot about those I need to add that to my list of possible candidates for a project I am doing. Body wise... no idea. may be custom only reason that leads me that way is it has a pre-2k block but a threaded feed neck way late post 2k body. |
im through 600 posts in the pic thread.... no signs of her found a few bodies with sight rail and 5 fins, but this is no rail and 6 fins... if she wasnt timed PERFECT i would tear her apart and see whats inside... |

On topic: Wish I could help. Almost looks Carter-esque. |
Stanch... pull the frame and pull the hammer back you can more then likely figure out the valve with out pulling it. |
Looks like an early AKA body that was custom milled. The anno looks like FF job though. |

so i'll do it afterwords :D |
I'd say it's a custom job. The parts look mixed (Kapp back block, Shocktech frontblock, custom vertical ASA) and I can't recall ever seeing one exactly like that before. Does it have a threaded ball detent or a wire? |
no detent at all |
I'm with Hokie.. its too all over the place to be a shop job. Dye drop, evil reg, sonic LPR, sto 3way, ans ram, kapp back block, shocktech bolt, check it feed neck and a kapp frame. It is a love child of the parts during the early 2000's for parts |
