It isn't necessary. A Phantom on HPA (or CO2 really) with a good paint to barrel match will shoot as good as anything out there. Spend money on better paint.

Then that sounds very nice. Thank you!

Stanchy did my Phantom barrel a year or so ago and I got .675, .680, and .685 brass inserts from Ty McNeer (also a member here). Even with these, it's important to use the best quality paint you can (if you have a choice) and store it properly (if you have any left after playing, which you probably will). Better quality (usually) means more consistent sizing from one ball to the next so you'll get much more consistent velocities.

Personally, a spring and seal kit, barrel(s) of choice (I liked the smaller lapco ones, but DW can't go wrong but will need a UC kit if you go DW), and trigger shoe

My DW works with the stock pump handle. Its super light and quieter than the stock barrel.

super_stanchy here on MCB does freak bores for phantoms. if you run 12grams a palmer reg my be good but if you don't it's really pointless. because it really just make it more efficient.

I guess if you had the handle out far enough it should work

Not the best pic, but this is the one I am working on. T grip pump. Palmers stab. Just ordered a stick feed from Walz, and an L stock from titus.
Just picked the main parts up from iamthelazerking. It has a freak bored lapco micro shot that looks freaking sweet.
