Paintball grip material

Does anyone happen to know what a typical material for paintball grips to be made of is? I know plastic/rubber, but I'd like to find out what kind if possible.

Most are injection molded, so that gives me a starting place for a melting point, but the other properties are a bit harder to find.

some people also use gun grips, so you can add wood, steel, aluminium...

Right. I'm wanting to do a custom reg grip so I'm hoping to make them out of a comfortable rubber, and so they match the rear grips.

Dangerous Power Regulator
Have you looked at what is already made? Or you want to make one for you only?

if you want a real grippy, rubber to cast your grips in I would suggest Dragon Skin-30 from smooth-on.

it is real easy to work with.

I've found a reg cover that I like (Dye NT), but I want to possibly cast a thumb area in rubber, similar to the PE LV1.
