Looking for a value on this Custom PPS SuperStocker

Ok guys looking for a value on this custom Palmers I emailed PPS when I got it and asked what it would cost to build a twin for it just to see a rough value and I was told by them through email that it would be a $1000+ build

As it sits now being very, very lightly used what would you consider the value on it and I'm thinking actual value rather than quick sale value

I was thinking its worth in the high $700's range what's your thoughts on it o great experts of MCB

With custom pieces like this it all depends on the right buyer coming along along. Though it is a beautiful piece of work, it was built to someone's specific specifications. To get near the original value you need a buyer looking and willing to pay for those specs. I have no doubt that replacement cost would be over a grand, but from a guy like me you wouldn't get an offer much more than the going rate for a plain Jane .680 super stocker. I like the pretty stuff but I'm not willing to pay for it, and if I had one built it would be a plain finish. Value really depends on how long you are willing to wait. Lots of nice stock class guns out there right now are going pretty cheap and PPS popularity for whatever reason seems to be down compared to some of the other choices right now. It is a beautiful piece, and i loved my old superstocker's feel years ago. I hope it finds a deserving home.

This PPS SS is one of the coolest and unique markers I have seen come out of the PPS shop. It's absolutely gorgeous.
Value wise, I would put it about the $800 mark. A lot of the options are well... options.
Sale wise, it's a terrible market right now and anything high ticket that actually moves are limited in scope.
Only things that I have seen move are two CCM J12s, a handful of high end electros, and 2 FN 303s.

If you want to make back the value, be prepared to wait a very, very long time.

I wonder what price would make it clear in the next six months. 600s? or 700s?

This was custom built by craig playing aound with the finish technique and went on the wall around the birthday sale of 30% off. I think its list price was 650ish. Yes a twin would cost around 1k to build without the sale. If I was the original purchaser new I'd consider it bad juju to resell it for more than palmers let it go for. Now thats just me and you obviously arent that original purchaser nor could I ever tell you how much to sell your gun since value is in the eye of the beholder, but I always looked at things like this different than most because I deeply admire and respect the work they do.

Anyways long tangent but original price was 650 and considering the prices of even .45 framed stockers only going for around 400, Id guess a good price would be 650.
