It's pretty well a tried and true platform. Our guys run a bunch of them, don't really have any recurring problems. Most issues come from people not having a clue and resetting their boards to something idiotic or not lubing them enough.

If your friend wants to carry them in a store I recommend he try to get in on a tech class though.

They are much like the SP Shockers, since they are based upon them. Realistically, it can be said that they are the next generation Shocker.

We have a store up here that deals with Luxe's. Big seller for them. They always have some in a special anno or the like, since they move so much volume.

cheers for that.....its pretty much what I thought, but have no actual hands on with one, a tech class would be great NZ is a little far for most guys to go though

Great Guns now that they have worked the kinks out from the first Gen,
the reasons they went with ribbon Eyes is a mystery to me.
The HPR/LPR assembly is kinda hard to tech sometimes when big issues happen.
and I've seen more than one come through the shop with the rear frame screw hole
stripped.
Also the Macroless design makes teching a little bit tedious.

My opinion is from a fixing point of view

but with proper care and maintenance its a great smooth shooting marker
and I would Recommend carrying it
