How would I go about re rounding the inside of a barrel?

I've got an angel barrel that has a small dent on the back of the barrel where it threads into the body. This causes chopping every once in a while, and I'm not to sure on how to fix it.

If it is on the edge you can use a tapered dowel.

sometimes a socket can work as well though it will most likely ruin the anno in that spot. Just got to find a socket that narrows at the end and wont drop all the way in the barrel.
