High pressure tank on Angel LCD. what's broken?

Edit: It's an LED not LCD, not sure if it matters.
I have in my possession an Angel LED, which shot fine until someone threw on a high output tank. What do I need to fix the gun? A new 14way?
Also if I fix the gun what can I do to adapt it to standard HPA tanks?

They take standard HPA tanks so nothing should be broken. sounds like someone made the reg lp for some odd reason

It has been a few years since I've messed with the marker. The person before me who owned the gun had it setup with a 600psi output tank, then threw on the 800 psi tank and that's when everything went to hell. I have to dig out the marker to find get the exact symptoms. I was just hopping it was a common or known problem.

I believe the IR3 (basically a shortened LCD) was the last high pressure Angel platform. IR3s and earlier would be fine provided you aren't using the HPA tank set up for RT'ing an automag LOL

Yea, all LED Angels (with stock LPRs) should work fine with any preset HP output tank. What exactly is the problem? What exactly happens when the gun is gassed?
